Marathon in a Month
Let’s MOVE! We’re introducing a healthy living-focused virtual competition to encourage Girl Scouts to get active and exercise. Your goal: Log 26.2 miles of physical activity within a month...that’s less than 1 mile of movement per day! Lots of activities count: soccer, running, tennis, baseball, basketball, dance, gymnastics, hiking, and skiing are just a few fun examples. We’ll help you determine how many miles you’re logging based on the activity you do and provide some great healthy snacks tips and tricks. You’ll even have a chance to be highlighted as a Girl Scout celebrity on our social media since we’ll be collecting photos and videos of girls getting active! If (when!) you finish the marathon, you may even score a sweet prize!
