This trip is open to Girl Scouts currently in grades 5-11 that will be Cadettes, Senior and Ambassadors in the summer of 2018. If you are an Ambassador Girl Scout graduating high school in June 2018, or will be a Cadette entering 6th grade in the summer of 2018, you are eligible to enroll in the travel pathway to Costa Rica. Check out our information packet and Costa Rica PowerPoint to learn even more about the awesome details of your travel pathway.
The price per person for the travel pathway is currently at $2,670.00* per Girl Scout (excludes $90.00 per girl for tour tips, passport fees and any optional shopping money). There’s actually a HUGE BONUS for any girl that registers by March 31, 2017, you will receive $200 off your entire cost making it as low as $175.00 per month or only $43.00 per week. Wait there’s more… we’ll also be creating several opportunities for girls to design, plan and host fundraising events as a team that will defray the cost of this life-changing travel experience! All participating girls in these fundraising events will receive an equal portion of the proceeds that will go towards significantly decreasing the overall cost of girl’s travel pathway accounts. All girls that enroll in the travel pathway will also get a personalized fundraising webpage to promote their global adventure. Girls can use their webpage to encourage family and friends to give towards their trip and include them in the adventure details. (Go-Getter Tip: If you do any babysitting or yard work for neighbors I am sure neighbors would love to visit your webpage and send a few extra bucks towards your Costa Rica Experience).
