Adventures of Troop 274 & "The Lion King"!

On Tuesday, March 7th Cadette and Junior Girl Scouts from Warwick Troop 274 experienced the thrill of Disney's "The Lion King" live at the Providence Performing Arts Center. From start to finish, the whole night was a special experience for the girls!

Upon their arrival, the girls were offered a warm welcome from PPAC who put their troop number up in lights!  PPAC's Group Sales Rep, Paul Hiatt, then added an extra surprise for the girls as he then ushered them into the PPAC lounge where they were introduced to Jordan Williams and Meilani Cisneros, two of the talented young actors who play "Young Simba" and "Young Nala" respectively.  The girls were able to ask questions, get autographs, and have their picture taken with these two rising stars!

The girls then hurried to their seats to enjoy the show. From the moment the performance began with the exciting entrance of the animals into the theater, til the final closing of the curtain, the girls were mesmerized by this amazing performance.

Upon exiting the theater, some girls were able to get pics with some of the actors!  And to top it all off, PPAC even gave all of our girls a special "Lion King" patch to remember their visit!

Special thanks to Paul Hiatt and everybody at PPAC for this awesome experience!
