Join GSSNE council staff and Girl Scouts as we celebrate cultural diversity during Hispanic Heritage Month with music, activities, and more! We’ll have lots of fun while exploring the Central America, South America, and Caribbean regions through music, dance, crafting, and cooking—we’ll even be sharing a traditional Columbian Hot Chocolate Con Queso (with cheese!!) recipe along with Columbian Folktales.

We’re also excited to announce that our very own Rhode Island Secretary of State, Nellie Gorbea, will close out the evening with an inspiring discussion about Latina pride and the importance of women voting and the ratification of the 19th Amendment. This is one empowering event you won’t want to miss! And for a special taste of the fun you can expect, check out this fabulous video
