About the GSSNE Leading Women of Distinction Awards

First launched in 2015, the GSSNE Leading Women of Distinction Awards is a unique fundraiser that celebrates local accomplished women who exemplify the Girl Scout mission. Our honorees are women within the communities that our council represents who:

  • Lead by example and exemplify the Girl Scout mission of building girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place—the women who demonstrate qualities of leadership and excellence in their life in whatever way you know them.
  • Are exemplary female role-models for the next generation of female leaders.

If you're interested in learning more, check out our past highlights and honorees. If your business or organization would like to support Girl Scouts through an event sponsorship, please contact Jill Martens at jmartens@gssne.org or (401) 331-4500.
