Whatever your outdoor skill level, GSSNE's Troop Camp Training will prepare you to help girls of all ages have a positive experience in the great outdoors and develop a passion for nature. This is a blended course requiring registrants to complete 1) a pre-training online skills checklist, 2) a 3 hour, classroom session, and 4) an overnight with your training group at Camp Hoffman. This course is hands-on and teaches volunteers how to teach their Girl Scouts to camp the Girl Scout way. All portions of the training must be completed as scheduled in order to get credit for the class. If for any reason, an attendee is unable to complete the training successfully, they must re-register for another date and complete all components of that scheduled training. There is a $10 registration fee plus participants are asked to contribute $15 towards the cost of dinner, breakfast, and lunch. Pre-requisite is Troop Leader Training or Basic Trips completed through gsLearn.
