Proceeds from Cookies & Cocktails directly supports Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England’s high-level programming, focusing on:

Mental health and well-being.
Camperships for youth in foster care.
Making Girl Scouting accessible to all who want to participate.

We hope you enjoyed hearing from our wonderful emcee, Mario Hilario, Anchor on NBC 10 News Sunrise, and enjoyed the brilliant recipe stylings of Chef Terranova and our special Girl Scout guest speaker, Caroline Barr.

We are so grateful for the wonderful chef teams who joined us and we thank them for their creativity in utilizing tasty Girl Scout Cookies “out of the box.” Hemenway’s, the Boat House, and KNEAD Doughnuts, you are all so inspiring—too bad we can't enjoy those yummy desserts every night! 2017

In 2017, as a way of celebrating the incredible centennial of Girl Scouts selling cookies, Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England hosted a very special event of "Cookies & Cocktails".

On Thursday, January 26th, over 120 guests attended a very special evening celebrating 100 years of Girl Scouts selling cookies! Local chefs created delicious desserts using everyone's favorite treat—Girl Scout Cookies! We were honored to be partnered with some of Rhode Island's best including: Cafe Nuovo, Gracie's, Mill's Tavern, Newport Restaurant Group (Avvio), and The Capital Grille. These groups went above and beyond to showcase our cookies "out of the box".

Attendees enjoyed passed hors d'oeuvres, a complimentary glass of wine, tasty Girl Scout Cookie creations, and had the opportunity to bid on both live and silent auction items. The evening was emceed by the one and only Mario Hilario. It was an incredible evening that will not soon be forgotten!

A sincere and heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, shared, and supported GSSNE in celebrating 100 years of Girl Scouts selling cookies!
