It's always the right time to make a difference—and now is the perfect time to do that as a Girl Scout volunteer. Discover how good it feels to help Girl Scouts find their voice.
Just by being yourself, you can be a person that girls can count on—the one who listens intently, who encourages them to chase their goals, who keeps them laughing, and who helps them feel confident in who they are. Together, you’ll build a community where every girl is celebrated and valued.
You don't have to have a child of your own to get involved; all you need is a passion for mentoring the next generation of leaders. Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England is ready to get you started!
You can join Girl Scouts at any point during the year! Annual membership is $25 for adults, and financial assistance is available.
If you need help completing your Girl Scout registration, please contact our Customer Care Team at CustomerCare@gssne.org or 401-331-4500.
Adult memberships to join Girl Scouts are $25 annually. This membership fee helps support performing background checks, accident insurance for members participating in approved Girl Scout activities, program development, research, resources, training, and technology to improve the Girl Scout experience for girls, volunteers, and parents.
Check out our Adult/Volunteer Membership Registration instructions and our Registering for Girl Scout Membership instructions to help you get started. Or contact us for assistance or if you have questions!
There are many ways to volunteer—decide how you would like to participate!
You will receive an email communication confirming that membership and screenings have been received and processed.
If you are volunteering as a troop support volunteer you are all set once your membership and background screening have been successfully processed.
Visit our Volunteer Essentials to learn more about your new role and get started!
To safeguard the health, safety, and general well-being of the members we serve, and prior to having any contact with youth including access to their personal information or managing Girl Scout funds, each prospective GSSNE volunteer is required to become adult member of Girl Scouts USA (“GSUSA”) and complete a thorough criminal background check (“CBC”) process. For further information, please review our full Background Check Policy.
