The American Health & Safety Institute's Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program gives teenagers and young adults everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting. From getting started with their business, to dealing with parents and children, to key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips, the magazine-format CABS guide and vlogger-style video make learning fun. This is a blended course requiring a 3 hour online component followed by a 3 hour in-person, hands-on classroom component. The course provides a 2-year national certification. A minimum of 5 registrants are required for the class to run. Individuals or whole troops are welcome to register (maximum 10 people).
