During this day long training, troop leaders and adult volunteers have the chance to receive multiple trainings and enrichment in one day that will aid them in leading and delivering a successful Girl Scout experience. Program areas will focus on teambuilding with L.L. Bean (participants in this session will receive a teambuilding kit to take to their troop), outdoor skills (you can earn several of your Margaret Ferris beads and credentials toward your Troop Camp Training completion), Highest Awards-includes the new GSUSA updates, New Leader Orientation, Troop Trips Training, tips and tricks for leading a troop, First Aid and CPR training (free to participants), Girl Scout traditions, and more! In addition to the skills and information you get from participating, you will have time to meet other troop leaders and build relationships and share ideas! A light breakfast, lunch, and afternoon s'mores will be provided.
