Lace up your hiking boots and get ready to explore the great
outdoors! This exciting, hands-on program helps Girl Scouts work
towards or earn their Trail Adventure and Environmental Stewardship
badges by diving deep into the world of trail reading, tree
identification, and native plant knowledge. Girl Scouts will learn
essential hiking skills, including how to read trail maps, follow
trail markers, and plan safe and enjoyable hikes. Along the way,
they'll discover how to identify common trees and local plant
species using field guides and observation techniques. With a focus
on outdoor safety, environmental awareness, and nature appreciation,
this program encourages scouts to become confident, capable stewards
of the natural world. $10 Per Participant
