Patch & Badge Programs

Think outside the box! These cool patch and badge programs challenge girls to explore their world. Through these opportunities, Girl Scouts will connect with their international sisterhood, celebrate history, tackle global issues and more!

Council patches may be purchased in the Girl Scout Shop located at the council office at 500 Greenwich Ave in Warwick. Some special global badges must be purchased in the online WAGGGS shop.

For her Silver Award Project, Jordan B. from Troop 602 in Newport/Middletown created a Bike History and Safety Patch Program!  It is Jordan’s goal that, as you take on this patch program, you Discover, Connect, and Take Action with the history, safety, and benefits of the bicycle and go on to promote bike safety in your own community.

Fidelity Investments "Let it Grow" Investment Patch Series

Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England is excited to introduce our partnership with Fidelity Investments! The Fidelity Investments “Let It Grow” Investment Patch Program helps girls to unleash their inner G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)TM and make the world a better place.

The Fidelity Investments “Let It Grow” Investment Patch Program introduces Girl Scouts to investing for their future. When girls start the program, they receive a Fidelity Investments “Let It Grow” patch. The program allows girls to grow from Daisy through Ambassador, earning a new patch bar with each age level. Girls may start earning patch bars at any age level.

GSSNE Marathon in a Month Patch

Are you looking for a challenge? Do you want to feel strong, brave, and embody the power of a Girl Scout? If you answered yes, then the Marathon in a Month Patch Program is perfect for you!

Your challenge officially begins on the date of your choosing and lasts for 1 month or 30 days. Complete 26.2 miles of running, walking, or any physical activity to officially earn your patch. Do it alone, or with a group…the choice is yours!

Sarah Hazard Nomer Museum Patch
Sarah Hazard Nomer Museum Patch

The Sarah Hazard Nomer Museum began in 1990 after the newly built House-by-the-Side-ofthe-Road opened. A Museum Committee was formed and tasked with the management of the collections and archive. Mrs. Nomer and her daughter participated in Girl Scouts in New York and Rhode Island.

Camp S'more Troop Patch

The Camp S'more Troop Patch and corresponding segments are available for troops that have an interest in camping together.

The main patch and the first 3 segments are earned after the first troop camping experience. Additional segments can be earned as a troop samples the wider variety of camping opportunities available. The patches and segments can be purchased at the GSSNE Shop.

The states we live in are unique and exciting! But how much do you really know about where you live? Complete the steps in the My State patch program to learn more about your state!

You may use Rhode Island, Massachusetts, or Connecticut for this patch. Patches are available for all three states are available at the GSSNE shop.

Boston has the biggest population of any city in New England, is steeped in history, has great sports, and many exciting things to do. Complete the Best of Boston to learn more about the capital of Massachusetts.

Zoo Patch

Visiting a local zoo is not only fun, but it's a great way to learn about different animal species, care, and conservation. Visit a zoo of your choice and complete six activities to earn the Zoo Patch!
