Print your own mug or t-shirt at We Make RI's Dye Sublimation
Workshop! This is a STEAM activity as participants learn the science
behind heat transfer ink and see it in action as their designs are
brought to life on a mug or t-shirt. Girl Scouts can email in a
digital design prior to the class or draw one in the session using
heat transfer markers. After a short presentation on the process and
equipment, Girl scouts will create (or print) and watch as their
artwork goes from paper to shirt. Open to brownies and above. But
brownies and juniors will NOT be able to operate the heat presses due
to risk of burns.
