Hit the trails in Arcadia Management Area on Saturday May
30th at 10:30am to May 31st at 10:30am for this beginner friendly
backpacking trip. Learn how to properly pack a backpack, Leave No
Trace, plan and prepare your meals, pitch a tent, & more! Girl
Scouts may Backpack 5+ miles across the two days. Day hikes prior to
this event are encouraged. This is a drop off program. Cadettes will
earn the Primitive Camper, Trailblazing, and Night Owl badges
required for the Outdoor Journey. Seniors will earn the Senior
Adventure Camper badge and Ambassadors will earn the Survival Camper
badge.
Cost: $70 per Girl Scout
Registration & Cancellation Deadline of May 10th. Required paperwork will be emailed in an informational email and must be completed by May 26th.
Some gear (Backpacks, Sleeping bags, etc.) may be available for use from GSSNE with advance notice.
