This beginner friendly class will introduce you to one of the simplest sewn bindings - the pamphlet stitch!
Learn the basics of bookbinding while you sew your own pamphlet stitched books! Students will learn a brief history of bookbinding, and will receive guided instruction on how to create their own pamphlet stitch bindings. Select your cover paper, endsheets, and thread color, to create books that are uniquely you!
This is a "make and take" class - students will create a handcrafted books to take home! $35 per participant. This is a drop off program. (Stonington, CT)
