Battleship Cove, 5 Water St, Fall River, MA 02721, USA
Join us at Battleship Cove as we venture through our Solar System and beyond and see that space is even bigger than you may have imagined. Girl Scouts will learn about our Solar System and the distance between planets. Additionally, because the planets are never alone in the night sky, Girl Scouts will learn about the stars above them and how sailors used the stars throughout the last centuries to navigate at night. Open to Juniors. Junior: Space Science Investigator Badge included. This does not include touring of the ship as this is an after-hours workshop. This is not a drop off event. No workshop fee for adults.
Cost & Tickets: Workshop Participant: $25
Advanced ticket purchase required! Space is limited for this workshop.
