Discover the basics of horticulture and sustainable
cultivation among the organic herbs, vegetables and pollinator
plants growing in the Rough Point Kitchen Garden. Harvest plants
for cooking and preserving in the historic Rough Point kitchen.
Come prepared and dressed to work in the garden. All activities
will take place indoors during severe weather or when the garden
is not producing. Participants are required to indicate any
allergies during sign-up in order to participate. This project
will introduce participants to the basics of horticulture and
sustainable cultivation. Juniors will earn Flowers and Gardener
badge, Cadettes and Ambassadors earn a naturalist patch.
