Kick-off 2026 National Media Literacy week with Girls+ Media Lab to explore ways of consuming and creating media in mindful and impactful ways. Youth will gain hands-on experience and practical strategies to notice, question, and reshape the media around them from other youth rising stars in the local media landscape. Free for Rhode Island girls & gender expansive youth (ages 13-18) and their parents, space is limited and registration is required.

Workshops led by local media insiders
Hands-on media evaluation experience

Tools to protect mental health online
Doors will open at 8:30am, breakfast will be provided, and the program will start at 9am. Youth programing brought to you by from Women's Fund of Rhode Island, Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England, Ocean State Media and the RI Girls+ Coalition.
