Girl Scouts 11-18 are invited to try canoeing and learn what it's like to be part of the Rhody Rockets, a competitive canoe team through Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England.
This event is open to any interested scout, no experience required. Participants will learn basic strokes, steering, and on-water safety from current team members, and can earn a canoeing event patch. Swimming will be available if conditions allow.
Current Rhody Rockets will be on hand to answer questions about practices, competitions, and what being on the team involves.
